NOON KIWANIS FEED ROSE FLOAT VOLUNTEERS

A good number of Noon Kiwanis Club members and their friends and family went to the Rose Bowl area to help feed the volunteers constructing the floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade.

Member Dave Harris reported that some 600 kids, who were gluing flower after flower onto floats, were served meals.

At one of their December meetings they celebrated the birthdays of the month. Jim Gibson turned 77 followed by Gary Peterson at 68 and Cathy Hutt who turned “38” yet again! Burbank Noon Kiwanis Club meets at noon Wednesday at the YMCA, 321 E. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank. For more information, contact Sam Asheghian at (818) 613-7792 or samasheghian@ yahoo.com.
