HOME-DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM

Volunteer drivers are needed for the daily Burbank home-delivered meals program, which supplies food to elderly residents who are homebound. If you are available to deliver meals between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. any weekday, call Dee Call at (818) 238-5370. Volunteers must have their own cars.

JOSLYN CENTER’S STAY-AT-HOME PROJECT

Volunteers are needed for the Joslyn Center’s Stay-at-Home project. The goal of the project is to provide information to seniors, their family and the community to prepare for successful aging. Volunteers will be educated on issues of aging, available resources and the necessity for planning for the future. For more information, call Dee Call at (818) 238-5370.

JOHN BURROUGHS HIGH SCHOOL

John Burroughs High School is looking for experienced, friendly and hard-working volunteers to make copies for teachers and staff. BURBANK ANIMAL SHELTER

Volunteers are needed to help care for and find homes for animals at the shelter, which is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For information, call (818) 238-3340.
