Lodestone Theatre Ensemble presents preview performances at 8 p.m. today and Friday of the world premiere of “Ten to Life” by Nic Cha Kim. Grove Theatre Center in George Izay Park, 1111 W. Olive Ave., Burbank. The show opens at 8 p.m. Saturday. Four twisted one-acts are featured in this production, including the story of a census agent who exposes a family’s perverse, hidden secret. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sundays from May 2 to June 7, Tickets are $16, $14 for students/seniors and $12 for groups of 10 or more. Tickets for the opening night gala $25. All Sunday matinees (except June 7) will be pay-what-you-can admission with a $1 minimum. The Fiesta of the Spanish Horse extravaganza pre-show begins at 3 p.m. at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, 480 W. Riverside Drive, Burbank. The evening show and equestrian exhibitions begin at 6 p.m. in the Equidome. USC’s marching band and the famous Andalusian mascot Traveler will be among the performers on Saturday evening. Proceeds go toward cancer research organizations. Ticket prices range from $15 to $50 and $3 service charge if purchased at the box office.
