Museum founder Mary Jane Strickland is mending and ironing the gowns that will be modeled by community volunteers.
Each guest attending will receive “A History of Burbank” book written by Strickland. There will be door prizes.

TANGO STARS PERFORM FOR BALLET FUNDRAISER
Media City Ballet, in association with Woodbury University, will present tango stars Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo in “Tango, Tonight!” from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the New Woody’s Café at Woodbury University, 7500 Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank.
Larici and Barrionuevo were the Best Couple Winners of NBC Television’s premiere season of “SuperStars of Dance.”
Bon Appétit will cater the event with an Argentine- themed dinner, which will also feature a no host bar, silent auction, raffles and free parking.
This event is a fundraiser for Media City Ballet. Tickets are $70 per person or $130 per couple. Tickets may be purchased at www.mediacityballet.org or by calling Media City Ballet at (818) 972-9692.

Senior Nutrition Coupons are available again for the Burbank Certified Farmer’s Market and may be picked up now until Nov. 30 in the nutrition office at the Joslyn Adult Center, 1301 W. Olive Ave., Burbank.

The Burbank Community Service Corner features a different Burbank service club, nonprofit organization or Burbank city department. There are openings in June and July.
The Farmers Market is from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. evert Saturday rain or shine, and is at the corner of Third Street and Orange Grove Avenue behind City Hall. There is street parking, or in the adjacent parking structures.
