Memorial Day came early for Boy Scout Troop 201, which in partnership with the American Legion Post 150 of Burbank sponsored an evening of remembrance Friday at Valhalla Memorial Park.
Children, many dressed in their scouting uniforms, laid hundreds of American flags to honor those who have kept this country free.
The city’s annual Memorial Day ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the McCambridge Park War Memorial, at the corner of Amherst Drive and San Fernando Road.
