Ex-columnist to roast himself

Will Rogers, a former columnist for the Burbank Leader and Glendale News-Press, will “roast” himself in a one-man show on Thursday to benefit the Burbank Temporary Aid Center.

“Will Rogers: Confidential” will focus more on him than the political figures and controversies he’s covered over the years, accompanied once more by music director Bryan Miller, who will start his part of the show at 7:30 p.m.

Hors d’oeuvres and no-host cocktails start at 6:30 p.m., at the Colony Theatre, 555 N. 3rd St. , Burbank.

Free parking is available in the garage behind the former Mervyn’s at the Burbank Town Center Mall.
