Chance to play at Dodger Stadium

While the club has a scheduled off day June 15, the Dodgers will present, “Under the Lights” at 6 p.m.

The fourth edition of event will give a limited number of fans the opportunity to take batting practice on the field, throw in the bullpen, run the bases, tour the Dodger clubhouse and see their name on the DodgerVision scoreboard all amid an atmosphere of food, drink, music, and appearances by Dodgers personalities.

The event will be hosted by Russell Martin, Jamie Hoffmann, Steve Garvey and Ron Cey

Looking for athletes beyond high school

In order to provide the most comprehensive coverage possible, the Leader sports department is constantly trying to keep tabs on area athletes beyond high school.

If you know of any area athletes playing at the collegiate or professional level, please let us know.
