WARNER BROS. WELCOMES INTERNS

Warner Bros. Studios has chosen three Burbank high school graduating seniors Paige Andrews, Grace Babbes and Thomas DeMasters as the 2009 Burbank REACH Honorship winners.

Andrews and Babbes will each receive a $10,000 college scholarship, and four consecutive, paid summer internships at the studio in their specific areas of interest. DeMasters, winner of this year’s vocational Honorship, will receive a $2,500 scholarship in addition to two consecutive, paid summer internships at the studio.

Andrews, who is graduating from Burroughs, will pursue communications at Cal State Northridge in the fall. Providence High School graduating senior Babbes will focus on film production while attending Chapman University, and DeMasters, a Burroughs graduating senior, will focus on technical theater at a local community college.

Since 2005, Warner Bros. Studios has awarded scholarship-internship packages, known as Honorships, to graduating high school seniors passionate about careers in the entertainment industry.
