The only tickets not available for online purchase are premium season seats and box seats, but they are available at the Community Services Building, Villalobos said.
This new feature will make it easier for people to buy tickets to the performances, said Maestro Steven Kerstein, who conducts the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra playing at the Fourth of July concert.
“In the past, they had to come physically to the city of Burbank, but now they can buy them from anywhere in the world,” he said. “We draw people from Orange County and Ventura. We received a letter from a young boy about 5 years old who lives in New York and attended our opening concert with his family.”
BJ’s Restaurant is the new concessionaire. Items offered are turkey breast or roast beef sandwiches, barbecued chicken salads and Caesar salad with or without grilled chicken.
They will also be selling chips and salsa, a fruit cup, cookies, popcorn, M&M’s and Cracker Jacks, she said, as well as sodas, water, beer and wine.
San Marco Coffee Roasting in Burbank is returning as the coffee vendor offering hot and cold coffee drinks and fruit smoothies.
The summer season is a mix of old favorites and new acts, Villalobos said, starting off with a patriotic salute in music and fireworks.

The Swing Kings will be bringing their style of high-energy swing music to those who love to listen and for those who venture out onto the concrete dance area in front of the stage, Villalobos said.
