BURBANK – Hoards of fans surrounded the perimeter of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in the Hollywood Hills this morning, waiting for a caravan of SUVs and limousines carrying the family of Michael Jackson. (11:15 a.m.)

Michael Jackson's family completes private memorial, en route to Staples Center

A caravan of Michael Jackson's family and close friends was moving from Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills, where they held a private memorial, to Staples Center this morning for a public memorial service. (9:40 a.m.) 

Jackson family motorcade rolls into Forest Lawn

The Michael Jackson family motorcade, made up of about 30 cars, drove into Forest Lawn Memorial Park  in Hollywood Hills this morning, led by five black Rolls-Royces with tinted windows. (8:56 a.m.) 

Michael Jackson's family arrives at Forest Lawn

As crowds began streaming into Staples Center for Michael Jackson’s memorial service, a caravan of cars and limousines carrying the Jackson family, escorted by California Highway Patrol officers, left Encino shortly before 8 a.m. and arrived minutes later at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. (8:16 a.m.)

Burbank twins anticipate Michael Jackson memorial

More than 200 fans waited impatiently at Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles  this morning to be allowed across the street and into the restricted area around Staples Center. (7:52 a.m.)
