LA PROVIDENCIA GUILD DISPLAYS SALUTE AMERICA

The members of Burbank’s La Providencia Guild of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Thrift Shop decorate the shop and window displays with a new theme each month.

This month’s window was created to coincide with the theme of the city of Burbank and Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert on July 4 at the Starlight Bowl — “Star Spangled Salute to America.”

Customers can also enter weekly drawings for Starlight Bowl concerts events.

In addition to weekly Wednesday Senior Shopping Days with merchandise discounted 10% for seniors, sales days are July 18 (ladies blouses, tops, etc.), 24 (housewares) and 31 (coats, suits and jackets).

The Childrens Hospital Thrift Shop is at 3301 W. Burbank Blvd. in Burbank. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
