Today is the deadline for reservations for the Burbank Emblem Club No. 86’s annual fashion show fundraiser Saturday at the Burbank Elks Lodge, 2232 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank. Social hour begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch, fashion show and door prize drawings. Donation is $30. Fashions will be by Draper’s and Damon’s Fashions of Studio City, and a tri-tip luncheon will be served. Funds raised go to the Salvation Army, Burbank Corps; Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Burbank Family Service Agency, BCR — A Place to Grow. Olympic gold medalist Carly Patterson will release her debut album “Back to the Beginning” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Golden State Gymnastics, 1828 Keystone St., Burbank. Event-goers who purchase the $10 CD, a portion of which will be donated to her nonprofit organization, will also get an autograph and picture with Patterson. For more information, visit


The Stough Canyon Nature Center will present a moderate fitness hike at 6:30 p.m. at the Stough Canyon Nature Center, 2300 Walnut Ave., Burbank. Hikes last about an hour and a half.
