City Atty. treated after heart attack
City Atty. Dennis Barlow suffered a minor heart attack after the Tuesday City Council meeting and will undergo necessary medical treatment, city officials said.
“He’s in good spirits,” said Mayor Gary Bric, who visited Barlow in the hospital this week. “He said he felt good. Looked good.”
Barlow was expected to remain in the hospital through Friday, but doctors have not provided a timeline for his return to City Hall, city spokesman Keith Sterling said.
“Dennis will be recovering at home this weekend and is expected to be back at work very soon,” he said.
“He is in great spirits and thankful for all the good wishes.”
