Police Report

The following were taken from daily booking reports from the Burbank Police Department.

AREA 1

500 block of South Buena Vista Street

Officers responded to St. Joseph Hospital regarding a gunshot victim. Ricardo Flores, 22, arrived with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers determined that Flores was a possible suspect in a Los Angeles homicide. Los Angeles police responded and are conducting the ongoing investigation.

Sherman Way and Vineland Avenue

A 29-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested at Vallarta Market after he tried to flee with stolen meat and fought with store security officers. The suspect had walked out of the store without paying for the meat. Security contacted the suspect, who then pushed one of the security officers and tried to run away. Both security officers had to wrestle the suspect to the ground before taking control of him. The suspect was taken to the Burbank jail and booked on suspicion of robbery.

West Chestnut and North Lake streets

A 19-year-old Hollywood man and two 15-year-old Hollywood boys were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism after several parked vehicles were struck by paint balls.

 4100 block of Warner Boulevard

A 47-year-old Burbank man reported that an unknown person had broken into his storage shed and stole some containers.

 1000 block of West Olive Avenue

Vandals entered a residence through a second-story balcony and stole rings, necklaces and bracelets.

 300 block of West Valencia Avenue

Residents reported that their apartment was broken into. The loss was unknown.

AREA 2

2400 block of North Myers Street

Officers arrested an 18-year-old Burbank man for hitting another man over the head with a beer bottle. Officers learned that the suspect was upset when the victim refused to stop a sexual advancement. The suspect grabbed a nearby beer bottle and struck the victim over the head. He was arrested and booked at Burbank jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

2900 block of North Brighton Street

A vehicle pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed and the driver got away. The keys were in the vehicle when it was recovered. Once Los Angeles Police Department officers contacted the owner, a 38-year-old Burbank woman, she said someone must have stolen the vehicle after she parked and locked it in her driveway the night before.

465 block of San Jose Avenue

Residents reported that someone had broken into their home and stolen a women’s wallet, money and a passport.
