Man accused of selling alcohol to minors
Burbank police arrested the 46-year-old owner of a liquor store for allegedly selling alcohol to minors after an investigation initiated by a series of public complaints, authorities said.
Nerses Moumjian was arrested about 7:45 p.m. Friday and charged with six counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and five counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor after a weeklong investigation into his Legacy liquor store at 1800 W. Olive Ave., Burbank Police Sgt. Robert Quesada said. Moumjian was taken to the Burbank police jail, where he was booked on the arrest warrant and released after posting $35,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in a Burbank courtroom Feb. 23.
