Pets Of The Week

February 17, 2010

Bert is a 12-year-old neutered Cairn terrier mix. He is mostly black with white markings. Ernie is a 5-year-old male Shih Tsu mix. He is white with brown/black markings. They were picked up together as strays, and no owner came in to claim them.

Bert and Ernie adore one another and it would be great to find a home that could keep them together. They are both very sweet guys, although Ernie may not be suitable for younger children.

They love to take walks and play together. They keep each other company, and their antics together will make you smile. They’d be excellent condo or smaller home companions.

This cocker spaniel is looking for a new family. She was found in Burbank chained to a tree and abandoned. She is lovable and very playful. She is missing her toes on her front paw, so long walks in the park or hikes may be a little too much for her. With some work, she may get along well with other dogs, although she would be better off being the household’s only pet. She does not like cats. She has been spayed and is current with all her shots. If interested, contact her foster parent Kimberly Quaglia at (818) 257-1111 or kimberzoo@aol.com.
