2400 block of West Victory Boulevard
Police arrested a 50-year-old former pizza-parlor employee after he allegedly tried to hit his former boss with a chair at Round Table Pizza. Hovik Migoyan, of Burbank, allegedly returned to the restaurant the day after he was fired and attacked his former boss. He was booked on assault with a deadly weapon charges.
Chandler Boulevard and Buena Vista Street
A 35-year-old Burbank man was riding his bike along the Chandler Bikeway when a man jumped out of the bushes and robbed him of his bicycle at knifepoint, police said. The victim said he feared for his safety so he turned over the bike. The suspect, who is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds, then rode westbound on the Chandler Bikeway.
North Hollywood Way and West Verdugo Avenue
A 91-year-old Burbank woman was approached by a woman who told her she had struck another vehicle. The victim looked at the vehicle and noticed two small dents. The driver got out and told the victim she needed to pay $500 for the damage. Police said the driver did not want to involve an insurance company and did not want a personal check. The victim felt pressured and told the driver she could pay only $250.
When the victim got home, she called her son, who then told her to call the police. The suspects were described as a white man and a white woman in their 30s. The vehicle was described as a white Toyota four-door sedan with two small dents to the front bumper.
2000 block of Monterey Avenue
Residents reported that somebody entered their home through an unlocked bedroom window and made away with an HP laptop computer, Xbox game console and an unspecified number of video games.
2700 block of West Magnolia Boulevard
Detectives are investigating a disagreement outside an auto-body shop that ended with a shot being fired. Officers contacted the owner of the shop and determined that there had been a dispute that led to a physical fight between a group of men and the business owner. As the groups of men were driving away, a shot was fired from the vehicle. No one was injured.

1100 block of Green Street, Pasadena
The Burbank Police Helicopter Unit, on a request by the Pasadena Police Department, assisted in the arrest of two possibly unrelated home burglaries in progress. The air unit arrived on scene and directed arriving patrol units before a patrol officer found and detained two suspects in the burglary. They were arrested for burglary and booked at the Pasadena jail.
