‘50 Days of Disney Music’ begins May 3

Walt Disney Records is giving away a song a day for free for 50 days beginning May 3.

“50 Days of Disney Music” draws on songs spanning the Disney catalog, from such films as “Aladdin,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Toy Story” and “Bambi” and shows such as “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Phineas and Ferb” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”

The free downloads will be available via social media sites, including Twitter and Facebook.

3-D glasses to be introduced at show

Burbank-based MasterImage 3D LLC, a 3-D technology company, will introduce multiuse glasses for their 3-D digital cinema systems for an upcoming industry show.

The environmentally friendly, high-performance glasses are fitted with the company’s advanced, circular polarized lenses. The MasterImage glasses will be available to theater owners worldwide beginning in May.

Baseball-themed menu launched

ESPN Zone has added a new baseball themed “Pitchers & Sliders” menu item to the restaurant’s starting lineup. From now through Sept. 30, adult guests can order a pitcher of beer, four sliders and two $5 game cards for less than $25 as part of the seasonal menu option.

ESPN is owned by Burbank-based Disney.
