The Burbank Historical Society will host guest speaker Charles Stevens, an Air Force bombardier who flew 34 missions over Germany and occupied France, Belgium and Holland on a B-17, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gordon R. Howard Museum, 115 N. Lomita St., Burbank. The program is free. Call (818) 841-6333. Stevens will be signing his books “An Innocent at Polebrook,” which covers the missions he flew in B-17, and “The Innocent Cadet,” about the training he went through before he went overseas. He will also be signing his books during the Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday when the bombers will be on display at display at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank at Atlantic Aviation, 10750 Sherman Way.
