While the La Providencia Guild chose to show their support to Childrens Hospital with a big bear hug, the Toluca Guild gathered in the spirit of aloha, which in the Hawaiian language means affection, love, peace, compassion and mercy for a luau at Lakeside Golf Club.

Chaired by Paula Carpenter, who serves as the guild's vice president, her committee included Shirley Norby, Lynn Best, Barbara Little, Kathleen Marsden, Sophie Goodsell, Rose Chimo, Dee Hitchcock, Patty O'Connor, Kimberley Clark, Darlene Lloyd, Stephanie Waite and Pat Lobinger.
