Authorities are searching for a man who they say robbed a Comerica bank on North San Fernando Boulevard on Monday at 2:59 p.m. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money, and is considered armed and dangerous.
The suspect, described as possibly Latino, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds with a medium build, entered the bank branch and demanded money with a handwritten note, said Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the FBI.
No weapon was seen, but the man's note indicated he had a gun and the FBI considers him armed and dangerous, Eimiller said.
The man was not linked to any other robberies as of Monday afternoon.
The man, who was wearing a black Raiders sweatshirt with a hood and a black New York Yankees baseball cap, left the bank at 801 N. San Fernando Blvd. in an unknown direction, said Burbank police Sgt. Robert Quesada.
