Teams get much- needed rest
It's probably a good time for the Burbank High and Burroughs football teams to have a week off from competition.
Because both programs participated in Zero Week games to start the season, the Bulldogs and Indians have bye weeks.
That should give the squads some time off to recover from injuries and to work on things before opening Pacific League play.
Burroughs (0-3) will begin league play Sept. 30 against Hoover at Glendale High. Burbank (2-1) will begin league play Oct. 1 with a tough game at Muir.
