Intersection of North San Fernando Boulevard and Walnut Avenue
At 7 p.m. Sept. 30, three men were arrested for conspiracy, drug possession for sales and burglary after attempting to pass counterfeit $100 bills at a pharmacy and a grocery store. Small bags of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana were found on Carlos Toledo, 33, of Arleta, Luis Santoyo, 42, of North Hills, and Fernando Gonzalez, 24.
1100 block of West Alameda Avenue
At 4 p.m. Sept. 28, a man walked into a Pavilions market and ran out of the store into a waiting taxi with two shopping bags full of alcohol. The suspect escaped with approximately $900 worth of alcohol. Police could not find any men matching the suspect's description.
