The sentencing for a 36-year-old gang member convicted of killing a 16-year-old Burbank boy and trying to kill his four friends 20 years ago was postponed Thursday.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Bob Bowers rescheduled Rodolfo Gallegos’ sentencing to April 14.
He faces multiple life sentences for the first-degree murder of Burbank resident Kenneth Caldera Jr. and attempting to shoot his friends as they were packed into a car on Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys, officials said.
Kenneth and four friends were in a vehicle idling on Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys on Aug. 24, 1991, when a large vehicle pulled up next to them.
