Kids ages 2 to 5 can take hikes in the Verdugo mountains with their parents on Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. They begin at the Stough Canyon Nature Center. The cost is $19 per child for six weeks. Call (818) 238-5440.

The Gordon R. Howard Museum hosts the Burbank Historical Society and a Tournament of Roses volunteer to provide a historical look at the parade and Rose Bowl games at 2 p.m., 115 N. Lomita St., Burbank. Admission is free. Call (818) 841-6333.


Burbank Certified Farmers Market is from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. rain or shine every week at Orange Grove Avenue and Third Street. (The Farmers Market will not openon Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.) The Italian Catholic Federation, Branch 102, meets at noon on the second Saturday of the month at St. Francis Xavier Church Cabrini Hall, 3801 Scott Road, Burbank.
