Providence 69, Buckley 53: Marcus Lovett scored 30 points and Patrick Gonzalez added 28 to pace the Pioneers to a Liberty League win Friday on the road.
Pasadena 69, Burbank 58: The Bulldogs couldn't defeat the defending Pacific League champion in an opening Pacific League game Wednesday on the road.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Pasadena (8-5), the nine-time defending league champion, and 17th straight in league play.
Burbank (8-6) trailed by eight with 1:19 left in the game after scoring 10 straight points.
Burbank rallied in scoring 10 straight points, eight which came from junior guard Andre Spight, who converted five of six free throws after being fouled on consecutive three-point attempts.
Spight then drained a three-pointer that preceded a steal at half-court and layup from Youssefi with 1:19 remaining, as Burbank forced three straight Pasadena turnovers, and pulled within 64-56.
Simon Elmoyan led Burbank with 15 points and nine rebounds while Spight, Youssefi and junior guard Cane Brown all scored 11 points each.
Burbank 2, Crescenta Valley 2: The Bulldogs (1-2-1, 0-1-1) played well against the defending Pacific League champs, which scored the tying goal in the final minute.

Burroughs (2-5-2, 1-0-1) goalkeeper Elliott Whitecotton made seven saves.
