Crescenta Valley 5, Burroughs 0: The Indians couldn't get their offense going in a Pacific League loss Wednesday on the road.
Bad weather and injury problems didn't help Burroughs' cause. Thus, she was scheduled to miss Monday's game against Hoover, but the game was postponed due to rain.
Crescenta Valley 4, Burroughs 0: The lopsided score in the Pacific League match Wednesday didn't take the fight out of either side, however, as the anticlimactic second half still featured plenty of color — yellow and red, mostly.
Between both sides, a total of nine cards were meted out over the final 40 minutes for offenses including various fouls, arguing with officials and a brief dust up between two opposing players.
Four total red cards were issued.
