Tubert was eliminated by Doris Chen of Bradenton, Fla., 2 and 1. The match was back and forth early with Tubert winning the second and fourth holes to hold a 1-up advantage through the first sixth holes.
Chen birdied the seventh to square the match and birdied the eighth to grab a lead. Tubert got it back with a birdie on the ninth hole, squaring the match once again. Chen then won the 10th hole and took the lead for good, as Tubert was never able to retake the lead.
