Good morning, readers. Today is Sunday, July 29. Driving down the Ventura (101) Freeway, have you ever counted the number of signs for colleges and schools?

There are 36 in all and Caltrans officials let private and public institutions, who say they help drive enrollment, apply. L.A. Times
