San Fernando Valley roundup: Aftershocks reported following Newhall earthquake, Spending in San Fernando Valley congressional race passes $13 million

Good morning, readers. Today is Monday, October 29. A 3.9-magnitude earthquake shook parts of the region on Sunday morning.

Eight aftershocks were triggered by the earthquake, which was epicentered in the Newhall area. There were no reports of damage or injuries, according to KTLA.

Spending between Democratic Reps. Howard Berman and Brad Sherman has passed $13 million as the two battle for a San Fernando Valley congressional seat, reports the Los Angeles Times.
