Burbank man arrested after calling 911 to confess alleged drug possession

July 08, 2013

A 32-year-old Burbank man was arrested Saturday evening after he called police to make an unusual request.

Jonathan Killy called 911 asking for a priest because he had a confession -- he had a small bag of methamphetamine, and had been using the drug, along with marijuana, for a year, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

Just before 7 p.m., Killy allegedly escorted officers into his apartment – located in the 400 block of Pass Avenue – and turned over the bag of suspected methamphetamine, according to police reports.
