A 35-year-old man with Down syndrome was reported missing Tuesday morning, police said.

The man, Mark Anthony Aguilar, was last seen at 10 a.m. walking near the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Olive Avenue, two miles from his home, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

[Updated 2:37 p.m.: Police say Aguilar was found in Alhambra and was being returned to Burbank. Information on his condition or how he managed to get there was not immediately available.]

Aguilar was described by police as Latino, 5 feet tall and 180 pounds with a thin mustache. He was wearing black or blue shorts, a blue tank top, white tennis shoes and an identification necklace around his neck, Ryburn said.

A concerned passerby saw Aguilar walking in the morning – he normally walks around his neighborhood every day – and called his mother. When family members responded to the area, they were unable to locate Aguilar, Ryburn said.
