I don't often fly, but within the past week I have flown into Phoenix, Reno and Las Vegas airports, all of which were attractive, neat and clean from the arrival perspective.
As we began our descent into Bob Hope, I was happy to be home, but as we taxied toward our gate I was shocked and embarrassed at how old and decrepit my beloved airport looks. Imagine what passengers must think, some here for the first time. The stairs to alight from the plane did nothing at all for the handicapped. As for the outdoor luggage retrieval area, the mechanism is fine, but shouldn't it be indoors?
We must have a new terminal and we need it now.
