Porras also got the win on the mound, going five innings and striking out nine. Alex Minnick pitched the sixth inning and Cameron Briggs finished off the seventh to earn the save.

Burbank 22, Pasadena 4 (five innings): The Bulldogs remained undefeated and in first place in the Pacific League with the win Tuesday on the road in a game that was called after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.
Burbank, ranked No. 2 in CIF Southern Section Division III, improved to 18-3, 9-0 in league.
Hanna Moulton got the win in the circle for the Bulldogs, going five innings, giving up five hits and striking out four.
Caitlyn Brooks paced Burbank on offensive, going four for five with five runs batted in. Teammate Lily Winn was three for five with two doubles and an RBI and Amber Ingram was three for four with an RBI.
Burroughs d. Glendale, 25-9, 25-14, 25-18: It was an easy Pacific League victory for the league-leading Indians on Tuesday.
Bailey Carter paced Burroughs (16-4, 10-0 in league), which is ranked No. 9 in CIF Southern Section Division II, with nine kills. Teammate Max Chamberlain had eight kills and five aces, Ryan Van Loo had 32 assists and Danny Casillas had 10 digs.
Providence d. Glendale Adventist Academy, 25-20, 25-17, 25-11: The Pioneers (13-9, 8-0 in league) remained in first place in the Liberty League with the win Monday.
Providence 237, Yeshiva 284: The Pioneers earned the Liberty League victory Tuesday at Rancho Park Golf Course.
TRACK AND FIELD
Burbank in San Fernando Rotary Invitational: A small group of Bulldogs took part in the meet Saturday at Birmingham High, with Chris Miranda setting a school record.
Miranda led the way, winning the boys' the pole vault with a 15-foot effort on his third attempt to set a new school record. The old record of 14-9 was set Greg Coauette in 1982. Teammate Andres Pulgarin cleared 13-6 to take third in the event.
Also on the boys' side, Brennan Doyle won the 3,200 meters in 9 minutes, 47.72 seconds, while Gabe Ellman and Ethan Moskowitz went 1-2 in the 1,600 with times of 4:29.44 and 4:30.12, respectively. Jonathan Afzali took second in the 110 high hurdles in 15.64, while teammate Martin Swan took fourth in the same event in 16.05. Rounding things out for the boys, Adam Navar and Sam Gorman finished third and fifth in the 800 with times of 2:04.06 and 2:04.39, respectively.
In the girls' competition, Candela Fernandez won the 800 in 2:23.18.
