Joyce Rudolph, Weekend GLENDALE -- The Gay Men's Chorus will place a lighter spin on opera when it performs "Diva's Revenge -- Opera Our Way II" at 8 tonight and 3 p.m. Sunday at The Alex Theatre in Glendale. Internationally renowned soprano Hila Plitmann will be guest artist, performing "Der Holle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" from Mozart's "Die Zauberflote." Her selections will be interwoven with hilarious and campy moments from operetta sung by the chorus, including "Come Boys, Let's All Be Gay" from Sigmund Romberg's "The Student Prince," "Toreador Song" from Georges Bizet's "Carmen" and "Anvil Chorus" from Giuseppe Verdi's "Il Trovatore."
