Jean-Luc Godard?s ?Made in U.S.A.? is being billed as a ?classic mod film noir,? but don?t let any of that fool you. It?s still the same old rubbish that was passed off as art and was popular back in the 1960s. Fueled by tensions created by the Cold War and dressed up by dialogue that became popular during the beatnik era from the decade before, this sort of story telling is absolutely idiotic, convoluted mishmash presented as intellectual observation of the shenanigans of the day. I am not quite sure what this film is about.
