Jenna Bordelon HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- A man found naked in Wildwood Canyon Park was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, police said. David Chaney, 43, was arrested Friday night after police allegedly found a bag of methamphetamine lying next to him on a hill in the park. Chaney's clothes were also next to him, police said. Police said an officer became suspicious when he saw only one truck in the park parking lot and looked in. He said he saw two unopened boxes of Chinese food, a Hustler magazine and a glass pipe peeking out from underneath a towel.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT Victory Boulevard and California Street: A 20-year-old Burbank woman was arrested Friday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and a glass pipe. MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH San Fernando Boulevard and Winona Avenue: A 33-year-old North Hollywood man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and a glass pipe. The suspect pulled up to a police officer who was engaged in a traffic stop, got out of the car and said that he was poisoned.

MAGNOLIA PARK 800 block of Ontario Street: A 43-year-old Burbank man reported Thursday that someone stole his 1989 Toyota 4Runner. 600 block of Whitnall Highway: A 28-year-old Burbank man reported Thursday that someone stole a car stereo, speakers and CDs worth $2,900 from his vehicle.

Ryan Carter MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH -- Two women and a man were arrested on suspicion of possessing and selling methamphetamine Monday after an altercation turned into a shootout at the residents' Burbank home, authorities said. Judith Garcia, 21, Irene Castillo, 48, and Evaristo Garcia, 25, were arrested after two men and two women allegedly knocked on the front door of the suspects' home, in the 2900 block of Thornton Avenue, said Burbank Police Sgt. Bill Taylor.

Police said the man and his sister had an argument and the man punched her in the back. 400 block of East Valencia Avenue: A 20-year-old Burbank man was arrested Oct. 28 on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance. 1700 block of Scott Road: A 24-year-old Burbank man was arrested Oct. 28 on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale.

A 32-year-old Burbank man was arrested Saturday evening after he called police to make an unusual request. Jonathan Killy called 911 asking for a priest because he had a confession -- he had a small bag of methamphetamine, and had been using the drug, along with marijuana, for a year, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz. Just before 7 p.m., Killy allegedly escorted officers into his apartment - located in the 400 block of Pass Avenue - and turned over the bag of suspected methamphetamine, according to police reports.

A 36-year-old Los Angeles man who police say appeared to be high on methamphetamine was arrested Sunday on suspicion of identity theft and possession of Norco and Vicodin without a prescription. Officers approached the man, Richard Hathaway, just before 7 p.m. for smoking in front of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in downtown Burbank, a violation of the city's municipal code, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz. According to police reports, Hathaway appeared nervous and admitted he had consumed methamphetamine earlier in the evening, Ruiz said.

A 61-year-old man allegedly under the influence sustained a broken ankle Monday morning after fleeing from Burbank police and getting stuck in a wrought iron fence. Police had attempted to pull over the man, Bernard Bartkiewicz, at about 3:15 a.m. after he allegedly made an illegal lane change. A brief pursuit ensued through residential areas at 35 to 50 mph, blowing through several stop signs and two red lights, said police Sgt. Darin Ryburn. About three minutes into the pursuit, Bartkiewicz stopped his 1988 Honda Prelude in a driveway in the 2100 block of Buena Vista Street and fled on foot, police said.

The following items were taken from Burbank Police Department reports: ? ?10 block of West Magnolia Boulevard: A 27-year-old man from Burbank was arrested on suspicion of burglary when he allegedly stole pastrami from Aries Prepared Beef. Officers noticed the man walking out of the store, which packages various meats for resale to markets, holding the hunk of beef. Knowing the store does not sell meat to walk-in customers, officers arrested the man. ?1200 block of San Fernando Boulevard: A 29-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, and a 28-year-old woman from Toronto were arrested for allegedly having methamphetamine and packaging equipment for selling the drugs.
