Local women presented at Charity League gala Several local young women were among the members of the Ticktocker Class of 2001 presented at the National Charity League of Glendale's annual Senior Presentation Saturday at the Sheraton Universal. Honored for six years of volunteer service to their community were Katy Thornton, Lauren Dixon and Kellie McElderry. Katy Thornton, of Burbank, attends Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy. Burbank native Lauren Dixon lives in Glendale and attends Hoover High School.

Joyce Rudolph Ticktockers of National Charity League, Burbank Chapter honored 21 Vagabonds at a tea at the Burbank home of Kathy Zoradi. Charity League is a philanthropic and social organization for young women in grades seven through 12, and their mothers. The young women are called Ticktockers. The Victorian Tea was the first hosted by the Ticktockers in honor of the Vagabonds, a group of women whose daughters have graduated from the program.
