The world of professional sports is full of famous rivalries — Yankees vs. Red Sox; Lakers vs. Celtics; Barcelona vs. Real Madrid — but few have the history and devotion to match one of baseball’s oldest grudges: the Dodgers vs. the Giants. To celebrate this historic rivalry, the Baseball Reliquary is presenting an exhibition at the Burbank Central Library. “Love to Hate: The Dodgers-Giants Rivalry” represents more than 120 years of baseball history through the camera lens of these two great teams.

Jim Riggio BURBANK -- One could say that Afshin Ghotbi has a job that is difficult in one regard, but easy in another. Ghotbi, who founded American Global Soccer School locally in 1988, is a patriotic American who is in a position that may be a little uncomfortable for him this summer. He is the video analyst for the Korean Republic National Team, which along with Japan, will host the 2002 FIFA World Cup. FIFA is the governing body of international soccer.
