The following information was taken from police reports: HILLSIDE DISTRICT 2700 block of Kenneth Road: A 50-year-old Burbank man reported to police Tuesday that his truck had been broken into and $520 worth of construction tools were taken. DOWNTOWN BURBANK 900 block of San Fernando Boulevard: A hairstyling salon reported Wednesday to police that a window was broken and $80 was taken from inside. 200 block of First Street: A 24-year-old Los Angeles man reported to police Wednesday that his car was broken into and a compact disc player, CDs and golf clubs with a combined value of $1,710 were taken.

Jenna Bordelon CIVIC CENTER -- The Burbank City Council is accepting applications for two recently vacated positions on the Downtown Parking Management Committee. The Parking Committee works with the Public Works, Community Development and Burbank Police departments to make recommendations on the Downtown Parking Management Plan. The first position will cover the block encompassed by Palm and Orange Grove avenues and San Fernando Boulevard and First Street.

BURBANK -- An injury traffic collision at the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Delaware Road Saturday left one man in serious condition, police said. At about 1:15 a.m., Andy Campos, a 20-year old resident of Sun Valley, was riding on his motorcycle south on San Fernando Boulevard near Delaware Road when he lost control and collided with a utility pole, Lt. Ron Caruso said. Campos was under the influence of alcohol and, as a result of the collision, was thrown from his motorcycle, landing on a bus stop, Caruso said.

Beach Party Nights to begin DOWNTOWN BURBANK -- The music will continue in Downtown Burbank with Beach Party Nights from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays in September in the AMC Plaza. California beach music will be performed by top bands with the final act in the series being Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries on Sept. 30. The other bands will be announced later. Jacqui Brown Tuesday's storm dumped a lot of rain on the area but caused no major emergencies. Burbank police and fire authorities did not report any major incidents as of Tuesday afternoon. Underpasses at Alameda Avenue under the Golden State (5) Freeway and another at Lincoln Street and San Fernando Boulevard were briefly closed on Tuesday morning due to flooding, but they were later reopened, Public Works Director Bruce Feng said.
