Audrey Khatchikian of Glendale has graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. She plans to do post doctoral work at UCLA Medical Center's Neuropsychiatric Institute. The following Glendale residents received their degrees at Boston University: Amr K. El Jack, master's degree in medicine, and biochemistry; and Miah Yun, a doctor of law degree. Brianna Lohr of La Canada Flintridge received a Founder's Scholarship and is enrolled in Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

Burbanker named president of Union Bank Union Bank, N.A., a San Francisco-based commercial bank, on Monday named John Stephan market president for the Los Angeles retail banking group. The Burbank resident became one of five new regional market presidents throughout the state. Before joining Union Bank in 2002, Stephan was a senior vice president and district manager at Wells Fargo Bank, overseeing the company?s largest retail market. Stephan received both his bachelor?

The Flintridge Prep boys' soccer player has frequently caught opposing goalkeepers by surprise after rocketing a ball past them from long distance. Such a strong foot ? one which can routinely kick a soccer ball three quarters of a football field ? has earned the 17-year-old plenty of impressive accolades during his four years as a Rebel.

Greg Gaudino didn't have to be told when the video cameras were rolling. Unlike some student-athletes, Gaudino didn't have any trouble dealing with the spotlight as a two-sport standout at La Canada High. Truth be told, he thrived on the attention. Whether it was blocking an attempted slam dunk by UCLA-bound talent and all-state honoree Evan Burns in a spring league basketball game against Fairfax prior to his senior year, the 18-year-old lived for making the big play.
