Jenna Bordelon BURBANK -- A local software company was shut down and put under the care of a receivership after Federal Trade Commission authorities filed a preliminary injunction. The FTC is accusing Titan Business Solutions at 4410 W. Victory Blvd. of misrepresenting itself to some 14,000 consumers who bought into its home-based medical billing practice. A federal judge ruled Nov. 3 that the receivership would become permanent and that the preliminary injunction against the company and its president, Scott Ford, was in place indefinitely.
